Wicked Good Yoga

our intention

Our intention is to nurture community and provide practices that support you in showing up in your life so you can make the difference you want to make. Our motto is to "begin anywhere'. We meet you where you are, as you are, and support you in getting where you want to go.

We welcome you to practice yoga in a community where people inspire, uplift, and empower one another. We practice yoga with the intention of providing space for you to feel better in the skin that you are in, to encourage muscles to strengthen, as well as stretch and lengthen, your breath to flow, and your body to detoxify deeply, peeling away layers of physical, mental, and emotional toxins so you can open to new possibilities of vitality, lightness and freedom, returning to yourself, and tuning into your own healing and intuition.

We provide sacred space that allows you to peel away external stressors and connect to your own innate source of peace and healing, guided by experienced and caring instructors. When Michelangelo was asked how he was able to make the statue of David he is reported to have said, “It is easy. You just chip away the stone that doesn’t look like David.” People are often drawn to yoga practice for the benefits of transforming the physical body; “chipping away” at excess weight, strengthening and toning the muscles, gaining flexibility in the joints, and accessing a deeper freedom of more youthful movement. However, many people stay with yoga for the longer term transformation that yoga offers. Like Michelangelo, yoga “chips away” at tensions of life that no longer resonate with the practitioner physically, emotionally, or mentally, so that your own unique and truthful way of being can emerge and when the rubble has cleared, have space to shine like polished marble.
